Our web design work combines our content-focused approach and strong information-organization skills, with over a decade of experience with web development technologies, to create dynamic and engaging online environments. In designing and building websites, we carefully consider the relationship between the content, visual design, user experience, and SEO. Our design aesthetic is clean, modern, and minimalist, resulting in sophisticated websites that value content and ease of use over trendy effects.
On most web projects, we manage the UX and development in-house using Adobe XD or Figma for prototyping, and CMS platforms such as Wordpress and Squarespace. We have developed websites using these platforms for a variety of businesses and institutions including schools, law firms, developers, retail shops, nonprofit foundations, musicians, authors, consultants, and political campaigns; many for clients in the local Salem-Beverly-Danvers, Massachusetts region.
Two web projects that best showcase our work are the site for author, architect & developer Jim Heid, and the site for urban greenway developer The Solomon Foundation. On both of these content-heavy sites we managed the UX design, visual design, and Wordpress development fully inhouse. Both required a designer/developer that could work closely with the client to organize and present a deep amount of content such as project narratives, stats, timelines, maps, videos, and project galleries with a a clear and easy-to-follow structure, that was also easy for the client to update in the future. Post-launch we also enjoy staying involved with our clients' sites and assisting them in content-management and adding new features.
Recently we helped launch a new finacial e-newsletter on the Ghost online publishing platform, a site for a local preschool, built in Squarespace, and a site for a landscape company developed in Wordpress.
We also provide our clients with web design support services such as landing pages, banner ads, infographics, ongoing content management, and social media integration; and are available for contracting, consulting, and creative direction work on larger-scale web projects.
